Hello and welcome! My name is Molly and I am a 36-year-old stay-at-home mom. I worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist until 2016 when I was forced to put down my instruments and pick up some diapers after my husband, Derek, and I welcomed our triplets to the world. My husband and I (first-time parents) found out over half-way through my pregnancy that we would not be welcoming one baby, but three. Triplets! (See our story here.)
Once we let the shocking news set in, I started researching. I quickly found that there is very little information out there to help with preparation for high-order multiples and the information that you do find will leave your head spinning. If you are scared and desperate for answers, I hope that what you read here will help ease your mind. You are not alone!
The things I write about here are not only about my experiences, but also the experiences of hundreds of other moms of multiples that I have been lucky enough to get to know and learn from. That being said, they are my experiences. I’m not saying that everything I do is right or that these things will even work for you or your babies. But because of the relationships I’ve formed with other Moms of Multiples, I’ve seen a lot of different ways to do things and how often those things have helped! That is what I intend to pass on here. There are a few important mom-phases, like breastfeeding, that I don’t have much experience with but if you don’t find what you’re looking for or have a specific scenario you need to be worked out, feel free to contact me! Lastly, Congratulations and welcome to the Moms of Multiples club. You’re going to love it!
